Peter E. Godfrey, M.D.

Dr. Godfrey established our practice in Culpeper in 1983 and has had the privilege of delivering several generations of his patients. As of July, 2016, he has now been focusing exclusively on gynecology. Dr. Godfrey has extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery, being one of the first doctors in Virginia to do a laparoscopic hysterectomy. In addition, he has extensive experience in treating endometriosis, pelvic pain, and symptoms of menopause. Dr. Godfrey was named one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s “Top Doctors” for 2016 and he was also voted the 2016 Best Doctor/Physician by readers of the Culpeper Star Exponent for the Best of Culpeper awards. Dr. Godfrey is married and has four grown children. He enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with his family.
