Peter E. Godfrey, M.D.
Dr. Godfrey established our practice in Culpeper in 1983. He grew up in Massachusetts and Maryland.
He has special experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery, being one of the first doctors in Virginia
to do a laparoscopic hysterectomy. He also has extensive experience in endometriosis, pelvic pain,
and menopause. He was named "Doctor of the Year" by Culpeper Regional Hospital in the year 2000.
He is also a volunteer at the Culpeper Free Clinic. Dr. Godfrey is married and has four children.
He enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with his family.

Karl M. Beier, M.D.
Dr. Beier joined our practice in 2000. He brings a particular interest and expertise in infertility
problems and high-risk pregnancy. Dr. Beier has a reputation for giving that extra time and
attention when needed. He practiced in Franklin, VA from 1985 to 1999. Dr. Beier volunteers
at the Culpeper Free Clinic and the Culpeper Pregnancy Center. He is the current Chairman
of the Board for Culpeper Regional Hospital, and was named "Doctor of the Year" by Culpeper
Regional Hospital in 2003. Dr. Beier's wife is an emergency room physician at Culpeper
Regional Hospital and they have two children. When not practicing medicine, he is an
avid horseman and raises Jack Russell Terriers. He lives on the side of a mountain in
Madison County, Virginia.
