Birth control is often a very personal choice for a woman. We offer a wide variety of birth control methods, including natural family planning, oral contraceptives, Depoprovera, and intrauterine devices. We also can perform permanent sterilization (see Essure Sterilization).

“When I see a patient in the office, a decision on birth control can be a very difficult one. Often, a patient has concerns about previous problems with contraception or the possibility of side effects and complications with a new form of contraception. I take the time to discuss and educate the patient and find the best choice for her. I then monitor the patient’s progress to ensure that she is happy with her decision. Our office does offer many choices, so it is rare that I cannot find a suitable method of contraception.”
